Ryancia Henry

Potters Village is celebrating another of its own as Antiguan hospitality professional Ryancia Henry takes up a senior management position in the international luxury hotel industry.

Henry, who was born and raised in Potters, has been appointed Hotel Manager at The Knox, Auberge Collection, in Dallas, Texas.

The appointment represents a significant career achievement for Henry, whose journey in hospitality began at home in Antigua before taking her into senior positions with internationally recognised luxury hotel brands.

Henry attended the Antigua and Barbuda State College and later began her professional career at Hermitage Bay Resort in Antigua.

She subsequently joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, spending nearly 15 years with the luxury hospitality company and advancing through several roles.

Her career eventually took her to California, where she became part of the leadership team at Rosewood Miramar Beach, gaining further experience in luxury hotel operations and guest services.

Henry has now taken another step forward with her appointment as Hotel Manager at The Knox, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection.

The Dallas property is positioned within the high-end hospitality market, offering luxury accommodation, dining and guest experiences.

For Potters, Henry’s achievement provides another success story from a community that has produced professionals serving Antigua and Barbuda and making their mark internationally.

Her progression from Potters Village to executive hotel management in the United States also highlights the contribution Antiguan and Barbudan hospitality professionals continue to make to the global tourism industry.
