Pastor Ivor Davis urged Cabinet members to remain open to guidance and encourage one another as they make decisions affecting the country.

Leading the meditation at Wednesday’s meeting, Davis drew on Hebrews 3:7–8 and its warning against hardening one’s heart. He said frustration, disappointment and the pressures of leadership should not prevent leaders from listening carefully and remaining humble.

Davis also referred to Hebrews 3:12 as he encouraged Cabinet members to retain faith during difficult circumstances. He urged them to speak to one another in ways that promote wisdom, understanding and unity when confronting national issues.

He closed with a prayer for wisdom, protection and decisions that would serve the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
