Liat Air has warned passengers that some flights may be affected over the coming days after one of its aircraft was temporarily removed from service for maintenance.

In a customer notice issued Thursday, the airline said the aircraft was taken out of service because of a technical issue. Its maintenance team is working to return it to service as quickly as possible, but schedule adjustments may be necessary in the meantime.

Liat Air said it would contact customers affected by any changes directly by email and urged passengers to check their inboxes and the airline’s official channels for updates.

“The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain Liat Air’s highest priority,” the airline said, apologising for the disruption to travel plans.
