The Cabinet has made a significant decision regarding the nurses at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.

It has been confirmed that, as previously announced, nurses who did not receive their due compensation as stipulated in the agreement related to their salary increases will indeed be awarded back pay for one month.

To ensure accuracy and fairness, the exact amounts that each nurse will receive will undergo a thorough verification process.

This step guarantees that all payments are accurately calculated and dispensed.

The powers that be have been taking advantage of the nurses since covid. It’s no wonder that many of them have moved on to better working conditions. We just never seem to get it right where it matters most

“To ensure accuracy and fairness, the exact amounts that each nurse will receive will undergo a thorough verification process”, Isn’t it one month’s salary they supposed to receive? If thats the case what is so hard about the process?

Nurses deserves more than that. SOME of them to be exact. There are some hard working nurses up at that hospital that needs incentives like Spa Days. I went to the hospital recently and saw how cold a Cuban doctor was over the death of a loved one. But on the contrast there was a local nurse who told me to take all the time i need to grieve. She sympathized with my family and i could see the love and compassion in her heart even though she saw me only twice. Her eyes was tearing up. I saw her human side. Some nurses deserves an award. Some needs to be kicked out of the service. I applaud you and I hope the government can find some more incentives for those who really care.
