Rickardo Bussawan has been sentenced to 8.5 years in prison for three counts of aggravated robbery against elderly victims James and Elizabeth Lewis.

The Villa resident pleaded guilty to the crimes committed on April 6, 2022.

Court documents reveal that around 10 pm, the Lewis couple and their friend were conversing by the pool when three masked men wearing gloves and carrying knives attacked them.

The assailants allegedly tied up the victims with duct tape and stole valuables including iPhones, iPods, jewellery worth US $10,000, a chef knife, a curling iron, and over US $1,100 in cash.

Bussawan’s co-accused, Delon Wills and Michael Carr, are scheduled to return to court on February 3 to set a trial date.

The surname “Bussawan” is not a well known last name in Antigua and Barbuda. Immigration focus more on Antiguans and Barbudans who returning home either from vacation or for family emergency and vacation. They need to be focusing more on who they’re letting into the country and followed up that they go out as scheduled on their plane tickets. We need to be doing like Donald Trump tightening up our homeland and borders security.

    • Antiguans are RACIST.

@Donna and @ Faithful National #1, you two should go run the immigration and labour departments if your so concerned about people getting on the island you don’t like. Start with the Syrians and Chinese.

I’m pretty sure they say the same thing about sewer source antiguans also whenever an Antiguan commits a crime on another island. Doesn’t ABLP import voters from different islands to vote for them?
