Four men have been shot and killed by police in Mayaro Trinidad, following an alleged home invasion at the Krista Park Housing Development along Beaumont Road.
The incident occurred around 9am on Monday, October 3.
According to reports, the police were notified about an active home invasion and when they arrived at the scene, the gunmen allegedly opened fire on the law enforcers who in turn, shot at the suspects and killed four of them.
Upon gaining entry to the home, the police found a businessman, his wife and his daughter bound by with duct tape.
The police seized four firearms at the scene.
