Halo Foundation recognizes Gaye Hechme.

On Friday, a prestigious ceremony was held at Government House to award Gaye Hechme, MBE, the title of Best Corporate Citizen 2022 by the Halo Foundation.

Hechme is a highly accomplished individual who serves as a member of several professional boards and is the driving force behind three successful companies: Chestertons Antigua and Barbuda, Moon Gate Development Ltd., and Island Living Investment Services.

In addition, she is a Board Director for the Antigua and Barbuda Youth Symphony Orchestra (ABYSO).

Hechme’s outstanding contribution to the community was recognized by Their Excellencies Sir Rodney and Lady Williams, Patron and President, respectively, of the Halo Foundation.

The foundation spokesman also noted that Hechme played a significant role in the development of the Henley & Partners Hero Scholarship, which trained young people for four years to the first-degree level at Saint Mary’s University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

It is worth mentioning that the award for 2022 is being announced and presented at this time due to extenuating circumstances. Hechme’s charitable endeavors have been nothing short of remarkable, and she is a worthy recipient of this prestigious award.
