A Flash Flood Watch is currently in place for low-lying and flood-prone areas of Antigua until 2 pm today, Sunday.

This means that moderate to major flooding is either occurring or expected in the watch area.

The Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Service Office has reported that a tropical wave in the region is resulting in intermittent heavy showers.

There has already been over an inch of rainfall in a short period, and additional accumulation could surpass 2 inches.
