Cannabis Seized at Airport

Police have seized $12,000 dollars worth of cannabis at the V.C.Bird International Airport on Friday, August 23.

During a joint drug operation between Customs and Police, a cardboard box was found at the cargo shed with 2 pounds of the controlled substance concealed in vacuum-sealed packages.

The substance was taken to the police station, while further investgations continue. No one is arrested.

    Wh6 are people still smuggling Marijuana into this country? Clearly these people, non-belongers have not got the memo. Nationals and legal immigrants have already been granted ample latitude in tèms of possession of the substance. If one is so inclined, they have the liberty to grow four trees per household.What more do they want? It can only be concluded that some foreign jackass is likely responsible for this idiotic and criminal act. Lock them to hell up! Respect our laws and social mores or stay out.
