Senator Michael Joseph has congratulated George Wehner of the United Progressive Party for what he described as a “display of true political sportsmanship” following the results of last night’s by-election held in St. Peter.
Wehner lost to Rawdon Turner of the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party.
After the announcement of Turner’s victory, Wehner congratulated him and shared some lighthearted moments.
In a media statement, Joseph remarked, “Wehner took on a task that was improbable based on all indications, yet he approached it with determination because he believed in his cause. That is truly commendable.”
Joseph added that ‘the saddest part was that after accepting such a calling, he had to stand almost alone and face the results of what was in essence, a party’s call to serve.
A streak of decency or just a face-saving gimmick. I strongly suspect the latter.

I know and accept that Our Brains/Minds are wired to the Negative ….. However WE ALL have the power to CHANGE This to the POSITIVE ….
……. You started out RIGHT ….. Let Us All Strive to ALWAYS Change the Negative (that’s how we humans are wired …. could possibly be from the Fall – Spiritually speaking – of Our 1st Parents Adam & Eve) and Make It POSITIVE.
You did start out RIGHT …. Why CHANGE It ….. Just A Reminder….. ALWAYS Change the Negative (the way our Brains/Minds are WIRED) to the to The Positive ……
……… Then We Will ALL Marvel at The Results We Help to Create in Our World ….. Peace!
Many are pleased with his victory, let’s hope he works hard to do a great job.
