Four more people have been arrested by the US for the brutal murder for United States Haitian President Jovenel Moïse.

According to media reports, the owner of a Miami-area security company was among those arrested. It is alleged that he hired ex-Colombian soldiers for the mission, prosecutors announced Tuesday.

Antonio ‘Tony’ Intriago, owner of CTU Security, was charged with “conspiracy to kill or kidnap a person outside the US among other charges, along with company representative Arcangel Pretel Ortiz”

The operation was allegedly funded by Florida-based US financier Walter Veintemilla

Reports are that a squad of former Colombian soldiers hired by CTU carried out the July 2021 attack.

Inter, which authorities say originally was envisioned to be a coup rather than an assassination.

The motives and ultimate masterminds of the attack remain unclear.
