An employee at the Royalton Antigua Resort has been arrested and charged with fraud.

Angel James reportedly stole the bank information from a co-worker’s debit card to make online purchases.

The bartender reportedly committed the act between April 2021 and May 2021.

According to reports, the victim noticed charges to her card from popular online stores amounting to over $4000.

The victim said she made inquiries since she did not purchase any item from Amazon, Shien, and other sites nor did she spend that amount of money.

Angel has been granted bail in the sum of $5000 with a $1500 cash component.

As part of her bail condition, she is to surrender her travel documents and report to the nearest police station three days in a week.

The case is expected to begin on October 10th.
