British national killed in St Lucia

A man from the UK was killed in St Lucia on Saturday night when a man opened fire at a bar. Several other people at the bar were injured.

The incident at the popular establishment is being investigated by the island’s police force.

According to reports, the deceased and a friend, Peter Jackson, were on the balcony of the bar when masked gunmen approached them and opened fire.

Jackson, who has been living in St. Lucia for approximately 30 years, has been admitted to the hospital.

It’s also reported that other persons were also injured.

The police have assured the public that a statement on the status of the investigation will be released shortly.
