Minister of Education, Creative Industries, and Sports, Daryll Matthew has begun meeting with employees under his charge to reintroduce himself following the assignment of his portfolio last week.

This morning, Minister Matthew met with the administrative staff of the Ministry of Education.

During his engagement,  he thanked everyone for being part of the electoral process and stated it was now time to “move past Wednesday ” and to continue working in the interest of national development.

He reminded employees that their skills are critical to the effective functioning of the public service and reminded them that despite political persuasions, the time has come for a return to normalcy.

Similar meetings are planned this week with other departments and ministries that make up the Ministry of Education, Creative Industries, and Sports.
