Antiguan goalkeeper Nicholas Townsend has been named on the CONCACAF National Leagues fantasy XI for Group B.

His outstanding performance landed him the new position. He was the only player from the twin island nation to be in the 10p 11.

The 28-year-old Newport County goalie was the only player from Antigua and Barbuda to be in the top 11.

“Townsend was excellent in both games for the Benna Boys, a 1-0 win over Guadeloupe and a narrow 2-1 loss with Barbados. He made a total of 13 saves in the window,” CONCACAF said while announcing their picks for the fantasy 11.

“It is always a pleasure” to represent Antigua and Barbuda, the 28-year-old Newport County goalie said.
