UPDATE: Bad smell forces Post Office workers to remain outside

Post Office staff have been sent home as plans are underway to sanitize their building.

The workers stayed outside their High Street building on Monday, claiming that it was contaminated with dead rats, urine, and faeces.

They said the building also had a terrible odor, forcing them to remain outside for the better part of the morning.

The workers say they are also being treated badly by management and “looked down upon”.

The staff met with their union representatives who had instructed them to remain outside.
