Nurses have rejected the government’s latest proposed wage increase offer, according to Soria Dupie-Winston, the President of the Antigua and Barbuda Nurses Association.
The membership of the association rejected the offer through a vote on Monday; Labour Day.
President of ABNA Dupie-Winston told our newsroom that the Association met with the government negotiating team and discussions are continuing.
ABNA represents staff at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center and those stationed at health enter island-wide.
