A 59 year-old Golden Grove man and a 29 year-old man of Nut Grove are arrested by the police, after they were found in possession of 10.9 pounds of cocaine and one pound of Cannabis.

Around 1:00 am on Friday 26 May, the police intercepted a fishing vessel occupied by both men at Parham wharf, during a drug operation.

The vessel was searched and 10.9 pounds of cocaine were found aboard. The vessel was seized and the men were taken into custody.

Search warrants were also executed on their properties and one pound of cannabis was found at the home of the Golden Grove man. The police are continuing investigations into the matter.
