United States resident Eric Schmidt has been announced as the new owner of the Alfa Nero, bidding the highest at $67.6 M.
The bidding process, which was televised to the nation and the entire world by extension ended a short while ago.
The former American businessman is worth $20.5 Billion US according to Bloomberg
He is a software engineer who served as the CEO of Google from 2001 to 2011 and the company’s executive chairman from 2011 to 2015, as executive chairman of parent company Alphabet Inc. from 2015 to 2017, and Technical Advisor at Alphabet from 2017 to 2020.
In fact, our research indicated that he was at the helm of Google when it rose from a small tech company to a worldwide tech giant.
Smith also helped developed and implement business and technology plans that expanded Google’s operations.
The new Alfa Nero owner can more than afford the luxurious vessel.
He has been recognized with numerous awards and backing from well recognized organizations.
