Residents of the Parham community turned out in large numbers over the weekend to embark on a cleanup exercise.
Drains were cleared, gutters were unlocked; activities that are necessary during the hurricane season to prevent flooding in the community
Senator Rawdon Turner congratulated those who came out to assist.
“Your unwavering commitment to keeping our neighborhood clean and safe is truly remarkable. A special shout-out to all those who have been mobilizing amongst themselves to clean the block drains and gutters. Your efforts play a crucial role, especially during this hurricane season, in preventing flooding and ensuring the health and well-being of our community,” Turner said
