The stage is set for what is expected to be one of the biggest charity events of the year. Colours-Fire and Ice will be staged tomorrow at Barnacle Point.

The Rotary Club of Antigua; the organizers of the annual event, say the all-inclusive Party for Charity will transform the venue into Spicy Salacious Fire and Cool Chill Ice at the same time. This must be a sensation of a lifetime.

Tickets are almost done at a cost of $250.00 and all proceeds go towards charity.

From Meals on Wheels to small community projects and educational programs at schools, to providing beds and wheelchairs for disabled people, the Rotary Club of Antigua surely has been a ‘busy body’ year-round.

Proceeds will also go towards Dialysis machines, Literacy with Reading Competitions, and support to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.

Projects also include the Give Peace a Chance workshop Grade 5 and 6 at Five Islands and the Aviation Career Expo, the ongoing Sewing project with training in various villages, and the Planting of fruit trees in Barbuda.

And you can drink to that at Barnacle Point while being entertained by Ricardo Dru, Tian Winter, DJs Illist, Elementz, and Easy P.

A mouth-watering menu awaits patrons with Nigel’s Catering, Backyard Chef, Chef Beard, and Chef Mint preparing some of their mouth-watering delights

Ice Cream and Snow Cones are also on the menu for dessert lovers, which will be served at various locations.

Drinks include JP Chenet Ice, Jack Daniel Fireball cocktails, and Heineken beers.

This year the Rotary Club of Antigua has doubled up on security to ensure all patrons are safe.

Hawkeye Security and Royal Antigua Police Force will be on the ground in addition to a well-lit parking lot.  Shuttle service with courteous and committed drivers is also in place

The fete is now in its 14 years and begins at 8 pm.
