Two Teenagers Charged for Illegal Gun and Ammo

Millique London of Barnes Hill and Saquimi Christian of Ottos; two teenage boys have been charged with Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of five rounds of .380 ammunition, and Illegal Possession of two rounds of 9mm ammunition.

The duo, both 19 were arrested on Tuesday morning, shortly before 2:30 am, according to police

They appeared before the Magistrates court this morning and were charged

When police apprehended them, the gun and ammunition were found in a vehicle they were in on Newgate Street.

The seizure was made during a stop-and-search operation by law enforcers.

  1. Isn’t your vehicle private property? Don’t they need a warrant? Also what protection is afforded to a citizen from arbitrary aka random search? .

    • You wNt to play hard ball? Ok we simply could’ve impounded said vehicle then secure a warrant and search it however they would have to pay to get it at police headquarters

    • Oh wow, what a comment. Then y’all say police ain’t doing nothing n too many teenagers have illegal weapons n so on. You really don’t make sense with that comment. Who knows what would’ve been those two teens next move if they weren’t searched n arrested?? Oh that’s what I thought.

  2. I’m not sure if this person has been affected by gun violence or had a family member or friend affected. If they had the statement would have been different. But what do I know!

    • This is great news and I applaud the police in ridding Antigua of illegal guns. Too many of us are afraid to live in our place of birth since it seems to be no different from where we spent our working years when it comes to gun violence and other violent crimes so this is a step in the right direction.
