Nigerian dance troupe confirms arrival on the first Air Peace flight.

The upcoming arrival of a Nigerian dance group on the inaugural Air Peace flight on August 5th has sparked curiosity among residents, who fear a repeat of the Antigua Airways incident that left Cameroonian refugees stranded in Antigua last year.

Although official details surrounding the dance group are sparse, the Deputy Director of the National Troupe of Nigeria, Dr. Husseini Shaibu, confirmed that 13 male and female artists and drummers, along with two officials, will be arriving on the flight.

The dance group will participate in various Carnival events, performing three times in three days.

However, it is unclear which events they will be appearing at, as this information has not been made clear.

The trip to Antigua is being sponsored by Air Peace, and the airline has acted as an intermediary between the group and the government of Antigua and Barbuda.

The group has never visited the Caribbean before, and they plan to showcase the best of Nigerian culture through their performances.

Air Peace is currently the largest carrier in West Africa.
