“The flight will include 16 members of the Nigerian National Dance Theatre, who will participate in several events during Carnival. They all will depart on Tuesday evening for Nigeria,” the cabinet note said
According to Minister of Information Melford Nicholas, the Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, will be among the guests traveling to Antigua.
The Antiguan Government hopes to engage with Air Peace and bring the airline on board as an investor for LIAT 2020 shareholders.
LIAT is one of the largest airlines in Nigeria.
Nicholas believes that LIAT’s expanded fleet and resuscitation of operations will help bring some fixes required for consumers. LIAT 2020 could then return to airports across the Caribbean.
“There is going to have to be an increase in the fleet of LIAT 2020. And of course we do believe that LIAT 2020, with an expanded fleet and a resuscitation of its operations, will bring some of the fixes that are required. Because it gives consumers the option of having another carrier that they can rely on,
There needs to be an increase in LIAT 2020’s fleet to make this possible.
It gives consumers another carrier option they can rely on.
