On International Youth Day, the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party Central Youth for Labour (CYFL) embarked on a remarkable initiative to give back to the community and empower the youth. With a strong focus on service, CYFL members joined forces at The Soup Kitchen to provide a heartfelt and impactful lunch for those in need.
Uniting for a Meaningful Cause CYFL, the youth arm of the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party, demonstrated its commitment to creating positive change in its community by organizing a collaborative effort to serve lunch at The Soup Kitchen.
Over 20 enthusiastic young individuals dedicated their time and energy to ensure that the most vulnerable members of society were provided with a nourishing meal.
The volunteers went above and beyond in preparing a diverse and delicious lunch spread showcasing their culinary skills and compassionate hearts.
Senator Shenella Govia, who is also the President of the Central Youth for Labour, shared her inspiring views on the significance of service.
She emphasized that volunteering is not just about giving your time, but also about sharing a part of your heart and making a lasting impact.
Furthermore, she encouraged her fellow youth to understand the power of service and how their present actions can set the stage for a better future.
