Steadroy Benjamin, the Attorney General and Minister of Public Safety, has praised the police force for organizing a successful police week this year.
As the police fall under his ministry, he expressed his satisfaction with their performance and dedication to serving with pride and dignity.
Moreover, Minister Benjamin expressed his confidence in the current leadership of the police force and promised continuous support from both himself and the government.
He assured that they would provide the necessary resources and assistance to enable the police to function effectively and efficiently, thus ensuring the safety and security of Antigua and Barbuda.
The Attorney General was spotted attending the church service that marked the opening of police week 2023 and the Malcolm Nicholas Cup Competition.
The police celebrated their 55th police week from September 10th to 17th, 2023, under the theme “With Dignity and Pride, We are Working Together With Our Community.”
