Bulk Waste Collection Temporarily Suspended

20 September 2023 - 16:47

The National Solid Waste Management Authority has temporarily suspended bulk waste collection until further notice.

In that light, residents are advised to properly secure their bulk waste on their premises until further notice.

“If you cannot wait, you may hire a private contractor to assist in collecting and transporting your bulk waste to the Cook’s Sanitary Landfill and Civic Amenity Site for disposal at your own cost,” they said in a statement.

Residents are asked to receive a Load Ticket from the contractor as proof of their waste deposit at the Cook’s Landfill and Civic Amenity Site.

“We will inform the public as soon as bulk waste collection resumes. We appreciate your cooperation and patience. For updates, please follow our social media pages,” the statement added.
