Schools to Remain Closed Today

The Education Minister, Daryl Mathew, has announced that the Ministry of Education will assess all school buildings once the MET office declares the all-clear.

Tropical Storm Philippe has caused severe flooding in Antigua and Barbuda, affecting an unknown number of schools.

Mathew added that it is too early to determine the extent of the damage.

In the meantime, school remains closed today, and parents and students are advised to prioritize their safety.
