A Moment of Silence was held yesterday for port workers who passed away recently in the region.
They include Antiguan Denroy “Waka” Harrigan, who died following a horrific accident at the Deep-Water Harbour on July 18.
Denroy ‘Waka’ Harrigan died in the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre intensive care unit.
Harrigan, employed by a local shipping firm, was crushed by a truck while unloading goods from a container.
Others were from Barbados and Guyana.
