In a delightful twist, the popular reality show Married At First Sight UK chose The Verandah Antigua as the surprise honeymoon destination for the newlyweds, Erica and Jordan.

This heartwarming episode, filled with love and adventure, captivated viewers as they embarked on their Caribbean honeymoon.

As an award-winning show dedicated to the journey of love, Married At First Sight UK proved to be a sensation in 2022, amassing an impressive 51.7 million viewers on Channel 4’s streaming service.

The series has continued to capture hearts with its heartwarming stories and surprises, making it the perfect backdrop for Erica and Jordan’s romantic journey.

The Verandah Antigua, a sprawling 30-acre, all-inclusive tropical resort, provided the ideal setting for the couple to strengthen their bond.

Having met and married just a day before embarking on their Caribbean getaway, the resort offered various activities to ignite their connection.

Their honeymoon experience commenced as they arrived at their waterfront suite, marked by a heartwarming touch—jumping onto a double bed adorned with a towel crafted into a love heart. The celebratory mood continued as Jordan opened a bottle of champagne, sending the cork soaring into the air.

The couple explored the resort’s spa area, where they indulged in romantic massages, deepening their connection.

An unforgettable romantic dinner at one of the resort’s five restaurants was a highlight of their stay, complemented by the presentation of a birthday cake to honor Erica’s 25th birthday.

Paula Whitehead, Managing Director Europe at Elite Island Resorts, expressed her delight at The Verandah Antigua’s feature on the show. She emphasized the resort’s commitment to creating magical moments and providing exceptional hospitality and opportunities for romance and relaxation. As a token of appreciation for dedicated travel agents, the resort will be offering free wedding and vow renewal ceremonies for guests staying seven nights or more in selected room categories.

The Verandah Antigua is set to begin a new chapter, reopening on November 17 as an adults-only haven.

This transformation promises a sanctuary for those seeking a tranquil and romantic escape, complemented by the resort’s signature hospitality and picturesque landscapes.
