Vandals have once again struck at the Ottos Comprehensive School, destroying sections of a building that serves as the Staff Room.
Principal of the School Foster Roberts said the incident occurred between October 20th and 21st. The perpetrators gained entry by damaging windows to the building where they stole a number of hats belonging to the students.
“They used the windows before we left to secure. So, they pried the window open and entered they ransacked at least two teachers’ desks,” Roberts said.
He later added that the police were able to apprehend one of the intruders and he is hopeful that the others would be brought to justice.
The headmaster has also commended the efforts of the Board of Educational officials who moved swiftly to effect repairs at the educational institution.
“There is not much we can do as a school but to make sure the damaged areas get repaired. That has been done, the Board did not waste any time in getting that done so we are grateful for that,” Roberts added.
