Junior Finance Minister meets staff

On Friday, Senator Dwayne George, who was recently appointed as the Junior Minister of Finance, held his first official meeting with senior members of staff.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including Financial Secretary Rosona Davis Crump, Permanent Secretary Faustina Joseph, and Comptroller of Customs Raju Baddo.

Prime Minister, Gaston Browne, has emphasized that Senator George will be given exposure to as many areas of the ministry as possible in the initial stages.

This is part of a familiarization effort that will span over the next few months.

Once Senator George is sufficiently familiarized with the ministry’s operations, he will be assigned specific areas of responsibility.

All me a tell senator George don’t put his hands in the people purse to enrich himself and his family!! Do the people business that you’re higher to do, and leave the people money alone.
