A new platform has been launched locally that aims to encourage people to support each other using the digital space.

Dwayne Simon is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Simple Support Inc.

“We came up with the idea thinking if we pool our resources together to help people. We decided to put that concept in a mobile application so that people can give without having to stand in a bank line you don’t need to be in the country to donate.

“We have created a tool to help communities and we are quite excited about what is to come,” Simon said.

He said that throughout the month of November, they will be spearheading a number of activities, including food drives through the use of the application.

“We are also planning a school so we can get teachers, students, and others aware of the applications and all the cool features. We also want to establish linkages with service organizations so we can bring further partnership,” Simon said.

The Simple Support Inc is available for download on any device.
