Tamarind Hills, the renowned luxury villa resort in Antigua, has exciting news to share. Their flagship restaurant, Wild Tamarind, has reopened under the superb culinary leadership of Chef Antoine Poitevin.

This is a significant development in the resort’s commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences and indeed reflects its dedication to culinary excellence.

Chef Antoine is an accomplished chef with an excellent international reputation and a passion for gastronomy.

His unique style, honed in France and various other locations worldwide, is set to take Wild Tamarind to new heights and make it Antigua’s premier culinary destination. Wild Tamarind Restaurant, now part of the newly constructed Tamarind Hills Beach Club, offers an extensive range of dining and drink options.

The restaurant’s fresh new menus feature a fusion of international and Caribbean flavors, complemented by an extensive wine selection and refreshing cocktails available poolside and beachside.

The reopening of Wild Tamarind is not just about tantalizing taste buds but also about creating unforgettable experiences. To mark this new chapter, the restaurant has launched a vibrant weekly events calendar for the new season.

The inaugural “Paella Night” kicked off the celebrations last Tuesday, followed by “Pizza on the Deck” on Thursdays, offering a traditional Napolitano gourmet pizza experience. The return of the restaurant’s social event “Sunset Aperitif” on Fridays, an elevated cocktail hour featuring signature wines and canapes each week, was a highlight.

This week’s “Taste of the Caribbean” event, scheduled for Wednesday, will see Chef Antoine take the kitchen to the beach and serve up local grilled fish and lobster, among other favorites, for dinner.

The diverse events calendar’s highlight is Wild Tamarind’s Sunday Beach BBQ Party featuring live DJ music on the beach and BBQ favorites paired with cocktail specials.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Antoine Poitevin to our team,” said Poonam Agarwalla, CEO Tamarind Hills Resort. “His vision for Wild Tamarind aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences, and we are confident that our guests and visitors will be delighted by the culinary innovations and vibrant atmosphere that Wild Tamarind now offers.”

Wild Tamarind is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is open to both resort guests and visitors, inviting everyone to experience the new flavors and partake in the fun activities.
