24-year-old Jahciba Shoy of Ottos has been charged with robbery and murder as police continue to investigate the killing of 25-year-old Roudi Shamarly, the Syrian national who was murdered in May this year

According to reports from State Media, police confirmed that the man was charged this afternoon.

Shamarly was shot dead during a brazen daylight robbery at Pick ‘n Mix Mart on Desouza Road on May 22 this year.

Police had previously charged a 16-year-old male from Upper Fort Road with the murder. His name has been withheld because he is still a minor.
