A group of representatives from fourteen companies belonging to the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association is currently in Antigua and Barbuda on a four-day visit to explore business opportunities and develop business contacts.

The Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce and Industry is serving as consultants and coordinators for the mission, which aims to expand or establish business contacts in St. John’s and to speak with other business leaders about opportunities for expansion or for investments into new ventures.

The mission includes several activities, such as a ‘Doing Business Seminar’, a Cocktail, a networking session to meet with delegates, and Business to Business meetings (B2B).

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Ambassador Clarence E. Pilgrim expressed his delight in addressing the TTMA at the ‘Doing Business Seminar’ and considers the trade mission as a timely endeavour, as it facilitates trading opportunities and explores potential local, regional, and even international business opportunities to create a seamless network of buyers, agents, and suppliers in both territories.
