Juante Kirby was presented with an all-inclusive weekend for two at Carlisle Bay Resort by Her Excellency Lady Williams on behalf of the Halo Foundation.

Kirby was nominated for recognition by a member of the public for his actions on November 20th when he helped some students who were passengers on a bus involved in a collision.

He provided comfort to the students in the midst of a “frightening scenario” by offering them kind words and smoothies.

Lady Williams praised Kirby’s actions as “thoughtful and genuine” in a world where many are consumed by their own egos and agendas.

She expressed her appreciation for the care and concern that Kirby showed to the children, especially during this “giving” time of year.
