Antigua and Barbuda is set for an action-packed month of cruise tourism in Antigua this January.
With seventy-five cruise calls scheduled, it’s going to be one for the books.
The Antigua Cruise Port is gearing up to manage this surge in visitors, as January is anticipated to be the busiest month of the season.
Mark your calendars for January 9th and 30th, when five cruise ships will be making port calls simultaneously.
That’s right – five! You’ll get to see the Britannia, Costa Serena, Royal Clipper, Norwegian Visa, Le Bellot, Explorer of the Seas, AIDA Perla, Costa Serena, Spirit of Discovery, and Norwegian Viva in all their glory.
But wait, there’s more! The cruise industry is expected to continue its growth this year, with 415 confirmed cruise calls already surpassing the figure for 2023 by 39 calls.
And if that’s not enough to get you excited, approximately 900-thousand cruise passengers will be welcomed this year.
The fun starts today with two vessels in port, and three more scheduled for tomorrow.
So grab your camera, sunscreen, and your sense of adventure – this is going to be an unforgettable month for cruise tourism in Antigua!
