Chairman of the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission John Montgomery Jarvis has died. According to reports, Jarvis died this morning

In April 2022, Jarvis was appointed as the new chairman of ABEC

With almost 30 years of experience in studying the electoral process, Jarvis has played a vital role in training electoral workers in Antigua and Barbuda.

He has also served as Permanent Secretary in various ministries, including the Ministry of Health, Social Transformation and Consumer Affairs, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Commerce, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the Ministry of Information, Telecommunications, and Technology.
