Obasic O’Garro

Obasic O’Garro, one of the three individuals implicated in the tragic death of Gray’s Farm resident Arthur James, has passed away.

In November 2021, Obasic, along with his brothers Zamir and their cousin Uroy Joseph, all hailing from Liberta, were initially charged with the kidnapping of James.

Subsequently, following the identification of burnt human remains as belonging to James, the trio faced additional charges relating to his murder.

James’s disappearance on October 28, 2021, sent shockwaves through the community. Just two days later, charred human remains were discovered in a vehicle engulfed in flames near Willoughby Bay, marking a harrowing turn of events.

Obasic and the others were awaiting their arraignment in the High Court.

However, tragically, Obasic’s life was cut short obefore the judicial process could fully unfold.

He battled with significant health issues, reportedly including kidney-related complications, ultimately succumbing to them on Wednesday.
