Police investigate pregnancy of 12-year-old girl
A doctor at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center has reported to the police that a 12-year-old showed up at the healthcare facility pregnant
The Criminal Investigations Department is investigating the matter
The police questioned the underaged girl while her mother was present, as required by law
The perpetrator could spend life in prison
