Ten former students of the Princess Margaret School, renowned for their exceptional achievements in sports, were inducted into the school’s inaugural Sports Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony took place as part of the school’s sports day activities on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the YASCO sports grounds.

In a press conference earlier in the month, a school representative mentioned that they had carefully considered sporting personalities deserving of this honor.

When asked about potential disagreements with the choices, the representative stated, “At the end of the day, we begin and we continue.”

Among the notable inductees was former West Indies fast bowler Sir Andy Roberts.

Other honourees included Veron Edwards Sr. (cricket and football), Anthony Mason (basketball), Fernando Abraham, Garfield Gonsalves, and Devikka Tittle (football), Agatha Dublin (netball and track and field), and Jess St. John, Teddy Daley, and Cejhae Green (track and field).
