Antigua and Barbuda bid a heartfelt farewell to Delano Christopher, the country’s first and only female police commissioner, who passed away recently.
Christopher, who was the first female police commissioner of Antigua and Barbuda, passed away on February 11.
She was accorded a grand send-off on Wednesday, following the celebration of her life at the Spring Garden Moravian Church, which was attended by both members of the Opposition and government.
The rank and file of the police force were also in attendance, and the presence of women was very obvious, as they came to pay their respects to the trailblazer, mentor, and true inspiration that Christopher was.
