Barbuda continues to make headlines, with the announcement of significant developments there

On Saturday, Prime Minister Gaston Browne shared his vision for the island’s development and the positive impact it is having on the residents

He expressed his excitement for American Airlines‘ upcoming arrival before the end of the current political term, which, according to Browne, will bring increased connectivity and opportunities for Barbuda’s tourism sector.

“I want to tell you this. Before the end of this term, we are landing an American Airlines in Barbuda… We are not leaving Barbuda and Barbudans behind no matter how much they curse us”, he said

Moreover, Browne said Barbuda is all set to host the Eastern Caribbean Monetary Council meeting in July, which marks a significant milestone for the island’s role in regional financial discussions.
