Gov’t Worker Rushed to Hospital Following Hit and Run

A female government worker in her twenties was hit by a vehicle near the Botanical Gardens. She was immediately rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center for treatment.

“The vehicle veered off the road, hit her, and just drove away. They didn’t even stop,” an eye witness told Antigua.news

According to the eyewitness, her right leg appeared to be broken while her left hand was also injured.

Onlookers expressed their concern and disbelief that the driver could have hit the victim and fled the scene.

The driver, also a female was said to be driving a black Honda Fit.
