Ffryes Beach Reverse Osmosis Plant

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) is conducting routine membrane maintenance replacement at all Reverse Osmosis (R.O) Plant Facilities as part of its commitment to operational excellence.

As a result, the Water Business Unit has meticulously planned and scheduled this maintenance exercise.

This essential maintenance is anticipated to last approximately ten (10) working days, barring unforeseen circumstances, commencing on Monday, 15th April 2024.

APUA expects a significant enhancement in our daily production capacity, estimated at approximately 1.4 million imperial gallons, upon completion of this maintenance period.

During the membrane replacement process, APUA must temporarily shut down the units, which will impact production and distribution.

As a result, customers may experience intermittent service, low supply pressure, or extended periods between service days.

APUA requests the patience and understanding of our valued customers during this maintenance period.

“Rest assured, our dedicated team is working diligently to minimize any inconvenience and ensure the continued provision of quality services. Thank you for being so cooperative as we strive to maintain and improve our water supply infrastructure for the benefit of all stakeholders,” the company said
