BREAKING: Jamal Pingle Elected UPP Leader

The energy was electric as Jamal Pringle was announced as the re-elected leader of the United Progressive Party moments ago.

The cheers and screams that echoed through the walls at the Multipurpose Center were deafening, and the atmosphere was pure jubilee, celebration, and even tears of joy.

Despite facing tough competition from his opponent, Richard Lewis, Pringle emerged victorious with 237 votes, leaving Lewis with only 173 votes.

Clearly, Pringle had fought the good fight and always remained composed and calm, even when eight of his brothers backed Lewis instead of him.

The crowd erupted with excitement as Pringle took to the stage, basking in the glory of his victory. It was a night to remember, one that will go down in the history books as a true testament to the power of perseverance and determination.

After the retirement of Harold Lovell from politics, Jamale Pringle was appointed as the interim leader.

Lovell, a former minister and parliamentarian, resigned from the position after being defeated by Melford Nicholas with a margin of only six votes during the previous year’s general election.

In 2018, Pringle was appointed as the leader of the opposition in parliament, as he was the only one who managed to secure a seat in the general elections.

  3. Congratulations Hon. Jamale Pringle. You represented the people solely in parliament it is only fair that you are not unseated and removed for others to sit. Keep carrying the fight and remember to keep that calmness. Humility takes one a far distance. God covers you and your TEAM. I am happy for you. Jah bless. Again CONGRATS
