The University of the West Indies (The UWI) system has announced the appointment of the 7th Chancellor, The Most Honourable Dodridge D. Miller, FB, FCCA, MBA, LL.M, LLD (Hon), to its highest office.

Dr Miller has been designated as the Chancellor-Designate, and he is expected to commence his seven-year tenure from August 1, 2024, succeeding Robert Bermudez, who has been serving as Chancellor since 2017.

The University Council accepted the recommendation of the Chancellor’s Search Committee to appoint Dr Miller during its virtual annual business meeting held on Friday, April 26.
