Nine Drivers Charged With Dangerous Driving

3 May 2024 - 16:47

Last Thursday, the police department conducted a major traffic enforcement exercise across various locations.

The exercise resulted in the issuance of 50 tickets for a variety of traffic violations.

Along with this, nine drivers were arrested and charged for failing to stop at traffic lights, which is considered a dangerous driving offense.

Over the past few weeks, the police have been actively cracking down on dangerous driving practices.

They have arrested and charged 30 drivers for dangerous driving and issued over one hundred traffic tickets for various traffic violations. These violations include driving without license plates, driving unlicensed vehicles, and failing to wear seat belts.

As a result, the traffic department is urging motorists to refrain from dangerous driving practices like proceeding through stop lights and exceeding the speed limits on the roads.

These are serious offenses that can have severe consequences for both the driver and other individuals on the road.

It is important for everyone to make a conscious effort to follow traffic rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all individuals on the road.
