Marijuana Improved Health of Rastafarian Leader Suffering from Prostate Cancer

The use of marijuana has reportedly improved the health of the leader of the Rastafarian community, who is suffering from stage four prostate cancer

On Wednesday, the Cabinet welcomed a group of professionals, including two medical doctors, a pharmacist, an investor in medical marijuana, and the Rastafarian leader, who was suffering from the illness

According to the notes, the Rastafarian had been gravely ill and had lost an alarming amount of weight, weighing no more than a mere 120 lbs.

His condition was so severe that his Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test showed abnormally high numbers, indicating the severity of the illness.

Working in collaboration with a medical marijuana specialist and a traditional doctor, the patient was able to gain more than 50lbs of weight, regain his strength, and experience a sense of well-being.

He was extremely grateful to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet for facilitating the collaboration with the traditional doctor, which helped to alleviate his ailment.

The use of medical marijuana, along with other treatments, played a significant role in causing the PSA test numbers to decline.

This success has led to a proposal to establish a research and development programme at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center (SLBMC) to provide effective treatment to others who may be similarly afflicted.

However, implementing such a programme would require amending Antigua and Barbuda’s laws to allow patients to choose this treatment.
